Since 2021 I've photographed and filmed for Alight, from the first assignments in Skurup and Åhus to solar parks, rooftop installations and battery storage across Sweden and Denmark. The work moves between ground level and the air, and stills, drone material and film often come out of the same production.
Energy facilities require planning. A park of several hundred hectares can't be captured from the ground, and the roof of a logistics building looks entirely different depending on altitude and time of day. I fly the drone myself, plan around light and weather, and know what has to be visible in the frame.
Lidsø on Lolland is the most extensive assignment so far: 253 hectares, 350,000 panels and 1,700 sheep grazing between the rows. In Katrineholm the work covered Chara park with both solar and battery storage, and in Stigamo outside Jönköping the rooftop installation on Kingspan's logistics building.
